In early 2022, the Walton Family Foundation announced a new strategy for the Arkansas-Mississippi Delta.  As one of the country’s most compelling rural regions, it is a place brimming with potential. Local leaders are working to create greater equity and opportunities for residents to learn, prosper and improve the quality of life in their communities.  The foundation’s new strategy focuses on joining with partners and supporting one another toward shared goals.  That includes investing in organizations that promote asset building, creating new opportunities for children and students, and supporting the development of future leadership. Join the foundation to learn about the importance of building trust in rural communities and the lasting power of community-driven change.

Panelists:

  • Justin Archer Burch, National Director of Workforce & Small Business, Rural Local INitatives Support Corporation (LISC)
