Powered by Houston Endowment, the CCE Collaborative at PSW features southwest funders in dialogue with nationally recognized organizations, sharing successes, strategies, and lessons learned from their partnerships to strengthen civic engagement and bring communities together across the region.
Upcoming Session:
March's webinar highlights what it takes to build the next generation of informed, engaged, and courageous civic leaders through a candid conversation centered on youth voices and those closest to the work.
Designed for grantmakers, this webinar will highlight what meaningful youth civic investment looks like in practice, share firsthand insights from emerging civic leaders, and examine how philanthropy can play a catalytic role in sustaining healthy, resilient communities. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of the ecosystem supporting youth civic engagement and concrete ideas for aligning grantmaking with long-term civic impact.
PSW is excited to bring back Cameron Parker, the 2025 Colorado Civics Bee State Champion and National Civics Bee Championship Finalist, for March's session within our Civic and Community Engagement Collaborative! Cameron will also be joined by Keith Lee, the 2025 New Meixco Civics Bee State Champion and National Civics Been Championship Finalist, and the Executive Director of the organization Collective Action for Youth, Tiffany Echevarria. Together, they will explore how early investment in civic learning, leadership development, and real-world engagement equips young people not only to understand democracy—but to actively strengthen it.
BONUS: Think you have what it takes to go head-to-head with Keith and Cameron? Join the webinar right at the start time to take a polled quiz to test your civics knowledge with real questions from this year's National Civics Bee. The winner(s) who answer the most questions correctly will receive something fun in their mailbox from PSW!
