This peer-level convening is designed exclusively for foundation leaders to connect candidly, think strategically, and engage deeply with colleagues who understand the unique responsibilities of the CEO role.

About the CEO Fly-In

The CEO Fly-In began as a biennial convening in partnership with the Walton Family Foundation in Bentonville, Arkansas — a tradition we will continue in odd-numbered years.

In 2026, we are pleased to convene in partnership with the El Pomar Foundation, creating space for meaningful peer dialogue in a setting designed for reflection and connection.

This gathering brings together foundation leaders from across the region to:

• Strengthen relationships with fellow CEOs and Executive Directors

• Discuss shared challenges and emerging opportunities

• Explore leadership practices that support long-term impact

• Receive timely updates on issues shaping philanthropy

Previous Fly-Ins have included facilitated discussions by foundation type, sessions on leading with purpose, and briefings on federal public policy developments.
