Permian Basin Area Foundation (the Foundation) is seeking a Senior Accountant with a proven track record of success in accounting and finance, and a strong connection to our mission of partnering with donors in creating permanent charitable funds to enrich the quality of life in West Texas communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance for tax-exempt organizations. The ideal candidate is interested in opportunities for advancement as the Foundation grows. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is strongly preferred. This position also requires five or more years of professional experience in accounting including knowledge of non-profit and fund accounting, finance and general business administration.
